His passion for public service is rooted in years of political and community involvement. As an advocate for equity and justice, Austin has held leadership roles in grassroots organizations, contributed to public discourse, and worked to amplify marginalized voices. He has also been deeply involved in organizing events that bring people together to address critical social issues and foster inclusivity. As a queer person, Austin is particularly motivated this election cycle to meet the moment and demand the rights of trans and gender diverse people be defended and upheld as they face a heavy barrage of legislative violence in Alberta and across the country.

Austin Mullins is running to be your Member of Parliament in Calgary-Midnapore to make a meaningful difference, guided by the belief that together, we can build a more equitable society.

Austin has lived in Alberta for nearly a decade, spending half of that time developing strong roots in Calgary. He currently lives in the community of Shawnessy with his partner and their houseplants. The two are taking the first steps to start a family together, and are working hard to save for their first home.
